श्रीमहाराजांच्या पुण्यतिथीस बोलताना एकदा पूज्य बाबा बेलसरे म्हणाले होते,

Once, while speaking on Shri Maharaj’s death anniversary, revered Baba Belsare said,
मराठी:
"आज महाराजांकडे कबूल करा की मी घेईन तर जास्तीत जास्त नामच घेईन".

“Today, promise Maharaj that if you take anything, you will take only the Divine Name.”
मराठी:
हे कबूल करत असताना श्रीमहाराजांनी त्यांच्या देहातील शेवटच्या दिवसातील दिलेली आश्वासनें आपल्याला निश्चित मार्गदर्शक ठरतील.

While making this promise, the assurances given by Shri Maharaj during the final days of His physical body will surely guide us.
मराठी:
संचीत त्रयी बाजूस सारणे हे साधकांच्या साधनेवर आहे हे सत्य समजावे.

Understand this truth: removing the three accumulated karmas depends on the seeker’s spiritual practice.
मराठी:
माझे आज्ञेप्रमाणे वागला असतां प्रत्यक्ष काळाची देखील मगदूर नाही की तो तुमचेकडे पाहील.

If one lives according to My command, even Time itself has no power to harm him.

मग संचित क्रियामाणाची कथा ती काय !!

Then what importance do accumulated and current karmas really have?

साधनेमध्ये जे अडथळे येतात ते ध्यान, धारणा, अनुसंधान ठेवले म्हणजे आपोआप दूर होतात.

Obstacles that arise in spiritual practice disappear automatically through meditation, concentration, and constant remembrance.
मराठी:
माझा माणूस कसाही असला तरी त्याला मार्गावर आणीनच आणीन.

No matter how My devotee is, I will surely bring him onto the right path.
मराठी:
साधकाची वृत्ती किती बाणली आहे हे पाहण्यासाठी अडथळे मी आणतो.

I create obstacles only to test how firm a seeker’s inner resolve is.

मराठी:
आनंद घेण्यास जेथे आनंद आहे तेथे राहिले पाहिजे.

One should live where true joy exists.
मराठी:
आनंद मनाचा धर्म आहे.
English:
Joy is the natural nature of the mind.
मराठी:
ते मन भगवंताकडे ठेवले तर आनंदी होता येईल.
English:
If the mind is kept with God, one becomes joyful.
मराठी:
जेथे मन असते तेथे भगवंत राहतो.
English:
Where the mind resides, God resides there.
मराठी:
मनाने भगवंताचे चिंतन पाहिजे.
English:
The mind must constantly contemplate God.
मराठी:
प्रापंचिकाला अनेकांचे मन राखावे लागते.

A worldly person must please many people.
मराठी:
भक्ताला फक्त भगवंताचे मन राखावे लागते.

A devotee needs only to please God.

सर्व भूतात भगवंत भरलेला आहे असे वागणे भगवंताला आवडते.

श्री महाराज म्हणतात, गोंदवल्यात पैसा रुजत नाही पण प्रेमाचे पीक चांगले रुजते.

Shri Maharaj says, “Money does not grow in Gondavale, but the crop of love grows well.”
मराठी:
येथे जेवायला येणारा भिक्षेकरी मोठा.
English:
Here, the beggar who comes to eat is considered great.
मराठी:
शिव्या सहन करील तो मोठा.
English:
One who tolerates insults is truly great.
मराठी:
येथे प्रेमाने नाम घ्या.
English:
Here, chant the Divine Name with love.
मराठी:
जो लोकांचे सहन करून प्रेम करील तो येथे मोठा होईल.

One who lovingly tolerates others will become great here.

मराठी:
संगत फार महत्वाची आहे.

Company (association) is extremely important.
मराठी:
तिचा परिणाम नकळत होतो.

Its influence happens unknowingly.
मराठी:
देहाची संगत कठीण असते.
English:
Attachment to the body is difficult to overcome.
मराठी:
नामाची संगत प्रथम बळजबरीने करावी लागते.

Association with the Divine Name initially requires effort.
मराठी:
अभ्यासाने ती मुरते.

With practice, it becomes natural.

मराठी:
भगवंताला सर्वांवर प्रेम करणे आवडते.
English:
God loves it when we love everyone.
मराठी:
त्यासाठी शुद्ध अंतःकरण पाहिजे.

For that, a pure heart is required.
मराठी:
भगवंताचे विस्मरण झाल्याशिवाय अनीती होत नाही.
English:
Unrighteous actions occur only when God is forgotten.
मराठी:
नाम हे निर्लेप साधन आहे.
English:
The Divine Name is a stainless, unattached means.
मराठी:
म्हणून शरणागतीसाठी नामच श्रेष्ठ आहे.

Therefore, the Divine Name is the supreme means for surrender.
Amrutdhara 06
भगवंताच्या स्मरणात कर्म करणे हिच नीती होय.
→ Performing actions while remembering God is true righteousness.
भगवंताचे विस्मरण झाल्याशिवाय अनीती होणार नाही.
→ Unrighteousness arises only when God is forgotten.
माझ्या कृतीला भगवंत पाहतो या भावनेने वागावे.
→ One should act with the feeling that God is watching one’s actions.
कर्म काही सुटत नाही.
→ Actions cannot be avoided.
अभिमानाचे कर्म बंधनाला कारण होते.
→ Actions done with ego become a cause of bondage.
मग कर्म करुनही कर्म मारता कसे येईल ?
→ Then how can one destroy karma while still performing actions?
कर्म बंधन नाहीसे करायला तीन मार्ग आहेत.
→ There are three ways to remove bondage of karma.
१) कर्ता मी नाही. बुध्दी व कर्तुत्व भगवंताचे आहे.
→ “I am not the doer; intelligence and ability belong to God.”
त्याने मला शक्ती दिली म्हणून मी कर्म करतो.
→ I act only because He has given me strength.
आपण आरोपी म्हणून कर्म न करता साक्षीदार म्हणून कर्म करावे.
→ One should act as a witness, not as an accused doer.
२) जसे फणसाचा चीक टाळायला हाताला तेल लावतात,
→ Just as oil is applied to the hand to avoid sticky jackfruit sap,
तसे प्रत्येक कर्मात भगवंताचे अनुसंधान ठेवून ते कर्म करावे.
→ similarly, every action should be done with remembrance of God.
३) कोणतेही कर्म देवाला अर्पण करावे.
→ Offer every action to God.
द्वैतबुध्दी नाहीशी व्हायला या पध्दतीने कर्म करावे.
→ Acting in this way removes the sense of duality.

Amrutdhara 07
खरा मी म्हणजे देह नव्हे.
→ The true “I” is not the body.
पण देह माझा म्हणताना "मी देह" असे म्हणतो व वागतो.
→ Yet, while calling the body mine, I behave as if I am the body.
मी देह आहे हे एक टोक व मी तो आहे हे दुसरे टोक.
→ “I am the body” is one extreme, and “I am He (God)” is the other.
जितके एकीकडून दूर, तितके दुसरीकडे जवळ.
→ The farther from one extreme, the closer to the other.
हे जवळपण सहवासाने आले.
→ This closeness comes through association.
सहवासाने मी जसा देह झालो तसा भगवंत कां होणार नाही?
→ If association made me identify with the body, why can it not make me God-oriented?
नामस्मरण हे त्यासाठी आहे.
→ Chanting the Name is meant for this.
देहाचा विसर पडायला दुसर्याचा आठव पाहिजे.
→ To forget the body, remembrance of the Other (God) is needed.
सर्व मार्ग त्यासाठी आहेत.
→ All paths exist for this purpose.
मी चोवीस तास भगवंताचाच आहे.
→ I belong to God for all twenty-four hours.
मी जन्मापूर्वी त्याचा होतो, मागून त्याचाच होणार.
→ I was His before birth and will be His afterward as well.
मग मध्ये मी त्याचाच असलो पाहिजे हे असे अनुसंधान पाहिजे.
→ Therefore, this awareness should remain that even now I am His.

जगात दोनच गोष्टी आहेत – मी व भगवंत.
→ There are only two things in the world: myself and God.
पैकी एकच खरी असली पाहिजे. भगवंत खरा आहे.
→ Only one can be real, and that is God.
तो सर्वांना पाहिजे. म्हणूनच तो सुलभ साध्य असला पाहिजे.
→ Everyone needs Him; therefore, He must be easily attainable.
भगवंत असल्याचा अनुभव आपल्याला नाही.
→ We do not experience God’s presence,
पण तो नसल्याचा अनुभव आपल्याला आहे, कारण असमाधान आहे.
→ but we do experience His absence, as dissatisfaction exists.
भगवंताची प्राप्ती सुलभ असली पाहिजे.
→ Attaining God must be simple.
काही न करता भगवंत मिळवण्यासाठी दोन गोष्टी सांगितल्या आहेत.
→ Two things are prescribed to attain God without effort.
१. नीतीधर्माचे आचरण.
→ 1. Practice of righteous conduct.
२. भगवंताच्या अस्तित्वाची जाणीव – “मी त्याचा आहे”.
→ 2. Awareness of God’s existence – “I belong to Him.”
“मी भगवंताचा आहे” असे वाटले पाहिजे.
→ One should truly feel, “I am God’s.”
त्याला आवडेल तसे वागले पाहिजे.
→ One should act in a way that pleases Him.
हे वागणे म्हणजे साधना.
→ This way of living itself is spiritual practice.
त्यासाठी भगवंताचे प्रेम उत्पन्न होणे जरुरीचे आहे.
→ For this, love for God must arise.
भगवंताचे प्रेम उत्पन्न होण्यासाठी तीन मार्ग आहेत.
→ There are three ways to develop love for God.
१. भगवंताची नड वाटली पाहिजे.
→ 1. One must feel an intense need for God.
नड म्हणजे भगवंताशिवाय सुख नाही असे वाटणे.
→ Need means feeling that there is no happiness without God.
ती नड संतांना वाटली.
→ Saints experienced this need.
२. आपलेपणा भगवंताशी नाते लावावे.
→ 2. Build a sense of belonging with God.
निस्वार्थी झाल्याशिवाय भगवंताशी नाते लावता येत नाही.
→ Without selflessness, one cannot form a bond with God.
३. सहवास.
→ 3. Association.
याने काही करावे लागत नाही. आपोआप प्रेम येते.
→ Nothing needs to be done; love arises naturally.
म्हणून सहवासाचा अभ्यास करावा.
→ Therefore, practice holy association.
सहवास कसा करावा?
→ How should this association be done?
भगवंतामध्ये असलेले नाम आपण घ्यावे.
→ One should chant the Name that is inseparable from God.
सहवासाने प्रेम येते आणि वियोगात दुख होते.
→ Association brings love; separation brings sorrow.
भगवंत आपला पाठीराखा आहे ही जाणीव झाली की सर्व साध्य झाले.
→ Once one realizes that God is one’s support, everything is achieved.

Amrutdhara 09
वाईट वागणाऱ्याला समाधान नसते.
→ One who behaves wrongly has no peace.
पण चांगले वागणाऱ्यालाही ते नसतेच.
→ But even the well-behaved may lack peace,
कारण “मी करतो हे कल्याणाचे आहे” ही निष्ठा नसते.
→ because they lack faith that their actions are righteous.
ती असेल त्याला समाधान तत्काळ मिळेल.
→ Whoever has this faith will get peace immediately.
निष्ठा ही समाधानाची जागा आहे.
→ Faith is the source of peace.
ती नाही तोपर्यंत समाधान नाही.
→ Without it, peace cannot exist.
व्यवहाराचे ज्ञान व्यवहारातच ठेवावे.
→ Worldly knowledge should remain in worldly matters,
ते परमार्थात घालू नये.
→ not be mixed into spiritual life.
अत्यंत विषयी माणसाला भगवंताच्या प्रेमाची कल्पना येणार नाही.
→ A highly sensual person cannot conceive God’s love.
समाधानाला पैसा लागत नाही.
→ Peace does not require money.
तो भूल पाडतो.
→ Money only creates illusion.
पैशाचे समाधान वातातील हसण्यासारखे आहे.
→ Happiness from money is like laughing in the wind.
समाधान भगवंताच्या स्मरणात आहे.
→ True peace lies in remembering God.
अनुसंधान न चुकणे हे महत्वाचे.
→ Constant remembrance is essential.
राम कर्ता ही भावना ठेवून कर्तव्य करणे हाच परमार्थ होय.
→ Performing duties with the feeling “Rama is the doer” is true spirituality.
आशीर्वाद.
→ Blessings.
Amrutdhara 10
मनुष्य म्हणून जन्माला येणे आपल्या स्वाधीन नाही.
→ Being born as a human is not in our control.
पण जीवनाचा शेवट आपल्या हातात आहे.
→ But shaping the end of life is in our hands.
वैभव वगैरे गोष्टी आपल्या हातातील नाहीत.
→ Wealth and status are not in our control,
व त्या महत्वाच्या नाहीत.
→ nor are they important.
आपला कर्तेपणा कशातही नाही.
→ We have no true doership in anything.
जगणेही आपल्या स्वाधीन नाही.
→ Even living is not fully in our control.
कर्तेपणात दुःख आहे.
→ Doership brings suffering.
त्याविना राहणे हे खरे.
→ Living without doership is the truth.
सर्व करुन अकर्तेपणाने रहावे.
→ Do everything, yet remain non-attached to doership.
गरीबी-श्रीमंती हा प्रारब्धाचा विषय आहे.
→ Poverty and wealth are matters of destiny.
प्रयत्न जरूर करावा.
→ Effort must still be made,
कारण भगवंताला तेच आवडते.
→ because God likes effort,
पण त्याला आसक्ती आवडत नाही.
→ but not attachment.
फळांची तळमळ, धडपड, काळजी भगवंताला आवडत नाही.
→ Anxiety and craving for results do not please God.
यश देणे न देणे भगवंताच्या हातात आहे.
→ Granting success is in God’s hands.
कर्तव्यात समाधान आहे, फळात नाही.
→ Peace lies in duty, not in results.
कर्तव्य न चुकणे हे खरे चांगलेपण आहे.
→ Not neglecting one’s duty is true goodness.
काळजी घ्यावी पण काळजी करू नये.
→ Be careful, but do not worry.
काळजी करण्यात भगवंताचा विसर आहे.
→ Worry causes forgetfulness of God.
भगवंताच्या प्राप्तीसाठी जगावे.
→ Live to attain God.
पोटासाठी नव्हे, भगवंतासाठी कर्तबगारी आहे.
→ True excellence lies in attaining God, not merely earning a living.

माणसाला चांगले करण्याची शक्ती आहे.
→ A human being has the power to do good.
पण ती त्याने वापरली पाहिजे.
→ But that power must be used.
माणसाला ही जाणीव आहे हे त्याला कळते, म्हणून तो जास्त अपराधी आहे.
→ A person knows what is right, therefore he is more accountable.
हे कळते तितके वागले तर फार उपयोगी होईल.
→ Acting according to what one knows would be greatly beneficial.
माझी मला परीक्षा होणे, माझे दोष दिसणे, उपासनेचे फळ आहे.
→ Self-examination and seeing one’s own faults are fruits of worship.
आपले अवगुण आपल्याला दिसले तरच सुधारणा होईल.
→ Improvement is possible only when one sees one’s own defects.
ही खरी साधकावस्था.
→ This is the true state of a spiritual seeker.
भगवंताचे प्रेम न लागायला कारण आपलेच अवगुण असतात.
→ Our own faults are the reason God’s love does not arise.
आज बुद्धी वाईट होण्याचा काळ आला आहे.
→ This is a time when intellect is becoming impure.
भगवंताच्या नसणेपणात माया आहे.
→ Illusion exists where God is felt to be absent.
मायेला कारण भगवंतच आहे.
→ God Himself is the cause even of illusion.
भगवंताचे नसणेपण नाहीसे करूया.
→ Let us remove the sense of God’s absence.
भगवंताचे प्रेम येऊ द्यावे.
→ Let God’s love arise.
प्रेम आणि नाम, दोन्ही एकच.
→ Love and the Divine Name are one and the same.
प्रेम आले की माणूस नामात राहतोच.
→ When love arises, one naturally remains in the Name.
भगवंताचे प्रेम आले की माया जातेच.
→ When God’s love comes, illusion disappears,
कारण सूर्याला काळोख नाहीच.
→ just as darkness cannot exist in sunlight.

प्रत्येकाला आनंदमय व्हावेसे वाटते.
→ Everyone wishes to be happy.
तो आनंद भगवंताचा अंश आहे.
→ That happiness is a part of God.
आपण तो बाहेरून आणण्याचा प्रयत्न करतो.
→ We try to obtain it from outside.
तेथे तो पाहिजे तसा मिळत नाही.
→ But it is never found there as desired.
प्रत्येक जीवाची दुसऱ्याकडून आनंदाची अपेक्षा असते.
→ Every being expects happiness from others.
म्हणून बाहेरून आनंद मिळणे शक्य नाही.
→ Therefore, happiness cannot come from outside.
सुखाचे वाटेकरी अनेक असतात.
→ Worldly pleasures have many claimants,
म्हणून पूर्ण सुख मिळणे शक्य नाही.
→ hence complete happiness is impossible there.
दुसरा मला सुख देईल ही कल्पनाच चूक आहे.
→ The idea that another will give me happiness is wrong.
सुख आपल्यातूनच आले पाहिजे.
→ Happiness must arise from within.
परावलंबी सुख टिकत नाही.
→ Dependent happiness does not last.
टिकाऊ सुख भगवंताजवळ आहे.
→ Lasting happiness lies with God.
जगातील विद्वान, श्रीमंत कोणीही पूर्ण सुखी नाही.
→ Neither scholars nor the wealthy are completely happy.
खरे सुख बाहेर नसून आत आहे.
→ True happiness is not outside but within.
आणि त्याचा उपाय भगवंताचे स्मरण आहे.
→ And the means to it is remembrance of God.
परमात्मा कर्ता ही भावना ठेवून कर्तव्य करणे हा धर्म आहे.
→ Doing one’s duty with the feeling “God is the doer” is true religion.

हा मनुष्य जन्म म्हणजे एक संधी आहे.
→ Human birth is an opportunity.
ती गमावू नये.
→ It should not be wasted.
आपल्याला काय हवे ते सांगता येत नाही.
→ We do not know what we truly want,
पण चैन मात्र पडत नाही.
→ yet restlessness never leaves us.
वैभवाचा अभिमान नसावा.
→ One should not be proud of prosperity.
कमी पडले तर वाईट वाटू देऊ नका.
→ If something is lacking, do not feel bad.
गरिबीचेही वाईट वाटून घेऊ नका.
→ Do not feel sorrow even for poverty.
भगवंताला म्हणावे – तू ठेवशील तसे ठेव, पण समाधानात ठेव.
→ Say to God: “Keep me as You wish, but keep me content.”
माणसाला विविध भोग भोगावे लागतात.
→ A person experiences many pleasures and pains,
पण त्याचे कारण कळत नाही.
→ yet does not know the reason.
पैशाचा लोभ फार वाईट असतो.
→ Greed for money is very harmful.
तो नको म्हणणे आपल्या हाती आहे.
→ Rejecting that greed is in our hands.
आपण अपूर्ण आहोत म्हणून आधार लागतो.
→ Being incomplete, we need support.
म्हणून भगवंताचा आधार घ्यावा.
→ Therefore, take refuge in God.
भगवंत ठेवील त्यातच कल्याण आहे असे वाटले पाहिजे.
→ One should feel that whatever God gives is for our good.
मग मनासारखे न झाल्यास देवाला दोष का द्यावा?
→ Then why blame God when things don’t go as desired?
प्रपंचातील वस्तू भगवंतापासून दूर नेतात.
→ Worldly objects take us away from God.
त्या कितीही मिळाल्या तरी पूर्णता येणार नाही.
→ No matter how much one gets, fulfillment will not come.
भगवंत ठेवील त्यात समाधान ठेवणे हेच खरे.
→ True living is being content with what God gives.
राम देतो हे खरे आहे.
→ Rama truly gives,
पण तो देतो हे ओळखून नाम घ्यावे.
→ but one must chant His Name with this awareness.
शरणागती पाहिजे.
→ Surrender is needed.
भगवंताचे होऊन राहिले पाहिजे.
→ One must belong entirely to God.

भगवंत प्राप्तीसाठी शरणागती हा एकच मार्ग आहे.
→ Surrender is the only path to attain God.
“परमात्मा तू माझा रक्षणकर्ता आहेस…”
→ “O Supreme Lord, You are my protector.”
“प्रपंच हवा, पण तू ठेवशील तसे मी राहीन.”
→ “I need worldly life, but I will live as You decide.”
अशी वृत्ती असेल तर दुसरे काही नको.
→ With this attitude, nothing else is needed.
शरणागतीला काही लागत नाही.
→ Surrender requires nothing.
त्यात फक्त इच्छेचे मरण आहे.
→ Only personal desires must die.
साधन भगवंताचे नाम आहे.
→ The spiritual means is God’s Name.
त्याला आवडेल तसे वागावे.
→ One should behave in a way that pleases Him.
“मी निमित्त, तो कर्ता” ही भावना ठेवावी.
→ Maintain the feeling: “I am an instrument, He is the doer.”
सार म्हणजे शरणागती व नाम.
→ The essence is surrender and chanting the Name.

भगवंताला काय आवडते ते पाहिले पाहिजे.
→ One should see what pleases God.
भगवंत पाठीराखा असेल तरच जीवन सुखी होते.
→ Life becomes joyful only when God is our support.
भक्ती हे सर्वात सोपे साधन आहे.
→ Devotion is the easiest means.
भक्तीला काही लागत नाही.
→ Devotion requires nothing.
विषयावर जितके प्रेम, तितके भगवंतावर पाहिजे.
→ Love given to worldly objects should be given to God.
भजन-पूजन होईल, पण प्रेम नसेल तर काय उपयोग?
→ Worship may be done, but without love it is meaningless.
प्रेम यायला काही सोडावे लागत नाही.
→ To gain God’s love, nothing needs to be renounced.
भगवंताच्या सहवासाने प्रेम येते.
→ Love arises through God’s company.
भावना व भाव आवश्यक आहे.
→ Feeling and devotion are essential.
तोच प्रेमाचा प्राण आहे.
→ That feeling is the life of love.
“मी तुझ्यासाठी आहे” ही भावना वाढवावी.
→ Increase the feeling “I exist for You.”
ईश्वरनिष्ठा प्राणाइतकी जपावी.
→ Faith in God should be guarded like life itself.
नीती ठेवून सतत नाम घ्यावे.
→ Live righteously and chant the Name continuously.
भगवंत हृदयात धरून वागावे.
→ Keep God in the heart while living.
मग भगवंत कृपा करील.
→ Then God will surely bestow grace.
भगवंताचे नाम सर्वात मोठे फळ देणारे आहे.
→ God’s Name gives the greatest reward.

भगवंताची निष्ठा जतन करणाऱ्याला स्वतःचीच भीती आहे.
→ One who protects faith in God fears for oneself,
कारण सध्या बुद्धीभ्रंशाचे वातावरण पसरलेले आहे.
→ because an atmosphere of confused intellect prevails today.
प्राणाच्या खालोखाल ईश्वराची निष्ठा जतन केली पाहिजे.
→ Faith in God should be protected next only to life itself.
पाहिजे तसे वातावरण येऊ दे, पण भगवंताचा हात सोडू नका.
→ Let any situation arise, but do not let go of God’s hand.
तो अंतर देणार नाही.
→ He will never distance Himself.
पूर्वीचे संस्कार वाईट असले तरी,
→ Even if past impressions are bad,
भगवंताच्या नामाची सतत धार धरली तर,
→ if one keeps a constant flow of God’s Name,
ते संस्कार कवच पडून जातील.
→ those impressions will fall away like a shell.
जगाला फसवता येईल पण भगवंताला फसवता येत नाही.
→ The world can be deceived, but God cannot.
व्यवहार करताना कोठे जायचे हे नेहमी लक्षात ठेवावे.
→ While living worldly life, always remember the ultimate goal.
तसे केले तरच भगवंताची प्राप्ती होईल.
→ Only then will God be attained,
आणि जीवाची तळमळ जाऊन समाधान मिळेल.
→ and inner restlessness will end in contentment.

→ God is the source of intellect.

भगवंताचे प्रेम स्वाभाविक झाले पाहिजे.
→ Love for God should become natural.
मग ते करावे लागत नाही.
→ Then it does not need to be forced.
करण्याची क्रिया राहत नाही.
→ The effort to love disappears.
असे प्रेम जन्मजात असावे किंवा सहवासाने यावे.
→ Such love should be innate or developed through association.
आपल्याला सहवासाने प्रेम साधेल.
→ For us, love will grow through association.
प्रेमाला सहवास लागतो.
→ Love requires companionship.
अखंड प्रेमाला अखंड सहवासाची वस्तू पाहिजे.
→ Unbroken love needs an object of constant association.
ती भगवंताकडे आणि आपल्याकडेही पाहिजे.
→ That constancy must exist in God and in us.
भगवंताचे प्रेम हृदयात पाहिजे.
→ God’s love should dwell in the heart.
भगवंताजवळ असे मागावे की, आता मागणे उरू नये.
→ One should ask God for such grace that nothing remains to be asked.
अशा मागण्याचे महत्त्व कळले पाहिजे.
→ The importance of such a prayer must be understood.
भगवंताचे होणे हे खरे भाग्य आहे.
→ Belonging to God is true fortune.
त्यासाठी भगवंताचे प्रेम व समाधान मागावे.
→ Therefore, ask for God’s love and contentment.
नाम भगवंताकडे अखंड असते.
→ The Divine Name is eternally with God.
म्हणून नामाचे प्रेम भगवंताकडे मागावे.
→ Hence, ask God for love of His Name.

प्रेमाला अभिमान आड येतो.
→ Ego obstructs love.
अभिमानाची कीड असलेली साधना फळ देणार नाही.
→ Practice infected by ego will not bear fruit.
भगवंताला जे आवडेल तेच खरे होईल.
→ What pleases God alone will truly happen.
भगवंताच्या प्रेमाला पहिले खत म्हणजे निराभिमान वृत्ती.
→ The first nourishment for God’s love is humility.
वातावरण प्रेमाचे असावे.
→ The atmosphere should be filled with love.
प्रेमाने हसण्यात जो आनंद आहे तो श्रीमंतीत नाही.
→ The joy of a loving smile is not found in wealth.
प्रेमाने जग जिंकता येते, श्रीमंतीने नाही.
→ The world can be won by love, not by riches.
भगवंताच्या स्मरणाच्या आड येते ते दूर सारावे.
→ Remove whatever obstructs remembrance of God.
आणि जे मदत करेल ते करावे.
→ And do whatever supports it.
“भगवंताकरिता मी आहे” हे ठेवले तर,
→ If one holds the thought “I exist for God,”
प्रत्येक क्रिया त्याची सेवा होईल.
→ every action becomes His service.
कर्तव्यात स्मरण ठेवले तर,
→ If remembrance is maintained while performing duties,
कुठेही न जाता भगवंत घरी भेटेल.
→ God will be found at home without going anywhere.
कालचे विस्मरण आणि उद्याची काळजी टाळा.
→ Forget yesterday and avoid worrying about tomorrow.
हे केले तर माणूस सुखी होईल.
→ Doing this will make one happy.
आजचा काळ नामस्मरणात घालवावा.
→ Spend today in chanting the Name.

मनुष्य आनंदरूप असावा.
→ A human being should be a form of joy.
मूळात तो तसाच आहे.
→ In essence, he already is.
सध्या तसा नाही म्हणून तो रोगी आहे.
→ Being otherwise now, he is diseased.
प्रत्येकाला आनंदी व्हावेसे वाटते.
→ Everyone wishes to be happy,
पण आज आपल्याला आनंद नाही.
→ yet today we lack joy.
मी जसा खरा, तसा आज नाही.
→ I am not as I truly am today.
म्हणून मी चुकलो.
→ Therefore, I have gone astray.
कोठे चुकलो ते पाहावे.
→ One should see where the mistake happened.
फळ भगवंताच्या हाती देऊन कर्तव्यात राहावे.
→ Hand over results to God and remain in duty.
आणि समाधान राखावे.
→ Maintain contentment.
प्रपंचाकरता देव नाही, देवाकरता प्रपंच आहे.
→ God is not for worldly life; worldly life is for God.
कुंपण उत्पत्ती करत नाही पण शेत राखते.
→ A fence does not produce crops but protects the field.
तसा व्यवहार आहे.
→ Such is worldly life.
परमार्थ राखण्यासाठी प्रपंच करावा.
→ Worldly life should be lived to protect spirituality.

आपली आनंदाकडे स्वाभाविक ओढ आहे.
→ We naturally incline toward happiness.
पण मध्ये आडकाठी आपणच आणतो.
→ But we ourselves create obstacles.
आपण आनंदाला कारणे निर्माण करतो.
→ We create causes for happiness,
आणि कारणाचा आनंद कारणापुरताच टिकतो.
→ but happiness tied to causes lasts only as long as the cause.
आनंद कारणाशिवाय आहे.
→ True happiness is causeless.
पण कारणामागे इतके लागलो की गुदमरून गेलो.
→ Yet we cling so much to causes that we suffocate within them.
त्यातून बाहेर पडणे कठीण झाले आहे.
→ Escaping this has become difficult.
आनंदाचा शोध संतांनी केला.
→ Saints discovered true happiness.
राम कर्ता मानून नामस्मरणात राहणे हाच खरा मार्ग आहे.
→ Considering Rama as the doer and remaining in His Name is the true path.

वृत्ती सांभाळण्याकरिता काहीतरी निश्चय पाहिजे.
To protect and regulate one’s mental tendencies, a firm resolve is required.
वृत्ती थोड्याथोड्या वेळात बदलते.
The mind keeps changing again and again within short intervals.
आतले फार झाले की बाहेर उमटते.
When inner pressure becomes excessive, it expresses outwardly.
आंतर सांभाळले की बाहेर आपोआप चांगले होईल.
If the inner state is maintained properly, outer conduct improves automatically.
वृत्ती केव्हा कोणाच्या अंतरी उठेल ते सांगता येत नाही.
It cannot be predicted when and in whose mind a tendency will arise.
बाहेरचे सांभाळायला जमेल पण आतले कोण पाहिल?
External behavior may be managed, but who can see what is inside?
ते सांभाळणे फार महत्वाचे आहे.
Guarding the inner state is therefore extremely important.
अंतरंगात वृत्ती उठेल तेव्हा भगवंताचे स्मरण पाहिजे.
When a tendency arises within, remembrance of God is needed.
भगवंत पाठीराखा आहे ही भावना ठेवावी.
One should keep the feeling that God is our constant support.
आतून वृत्ती बदलणे हा परमार्थ होय.
Changing one’s tendencies from within is true spiritual practice.

आपण विषयात इतके गुंतले आहोत की तो सोडून जाता येणे शक्य नाही.
We are so deeply entangled in sense-objects that giving them up seems impossible.
रक्तात गेलेले विष ओकून जात नाही, तसे प्रपंचाचे विष रक्तात मिसळले आहे.
Just as poison that has entered the blood cannot be vomited out, worldly poison has mixed into our blood.
त्याला रक्तात मिसळणारे इंजेक्शनच हवे.
What is needed is an injection that mixes into the blood itself.
म्हणजे अती सूक्ष्म साधन करायला हवे.
That means one must adopt an extremely subtle spiritual means.
ते साधन म्हणजे रामकर्ता ही भावना ठेवून नामस्मरणात कर्म करावे.
That means performing actions while remembering the Name, with the feeling that Rama is the doer.
विषयाचा आनंद खरा नाही.
Pleasure from sense-objects is not real.
वृत्ती विषयाकार होईलच.
The mind inevitably takes the form of sense-enjoyment.
ती अनावर होते, तेव्हा भगवंताला प्रार्थना करावी.
When it becomes uncontrollable, one should pray to God.
मागितले तर तो देईलच देईल.
If asked, He surely gives.
तो दयाळू आहे.
He is compassionate.
ज्याच्या कृपेने आपण जगतो, त्याच्याच कृपेने फळ मिळते असे मानावे.
One should believe that just as we live by His grace, results also come by His grace.
मग प्रत्येक प्रपंच भगवंताचे देऊळ होईल.
Then every aspect of worldly life becomes a temple of God.

आपला जन्म वासनेत आहे.
Our birth itself is rooted in desire.
मागचा जन्म कसाही असू दे; पुढे कसे सुधारावे तसे वागणे आपले काम आहे.
Whatever the previous birth may have been, our duty is to act in a way that improves the future.
जन्म वासनेत आहे म्हणून बुध्दी गढूळ होतेच.
Because birth is rooted in desire, the intellect naturally becomes clouded.
मी तेच घोकले तर पुढच्या जन्माचे प्रस्थान ठेवतो.
If I repeat the same patterns, I prepare the ground for another birth.
या जन्माचे सार्थक केले तर त्याने मागचे जाईल व पुढचे येणार नाही.
If this life is made meaningful, the past is erased and no future birth remains.
ती बुध्दी सुधारणे, जन्माचे सार्थक करणे ही माणसाची खरी कर्तबगारी आहे.
Refining the intellect and making life meaningful is a human being’s true achievement.
हे दुसऱ्याकरता नाही.
This is not for someone else.
दुसऱ्यावर उपकार नाही.
It is not charity toward others.
आपल्या कल्याणाचे आहे.
It is entirely for one’s own welfare.
आज कळते तितके केले तरी पुरे होईल.
Even doing as much as one understands today is sufficient.
पुढचा मार्ग सोपा होईल.
The next path becomes easier.
पुढचा मार्ग दिसत जातो.
The way ahead gradually becomes visible.
“नाम हे अतिसूक्ष्म साधन आहे…”
“The Name is an extremely subtle spiritual means; it must be taken inward, obstacles created by thoughts should be removed, and one should progress through continuous awareness.”

देह माझा आहे, पण ‘तो’ मीच झाल्याने घोटाळा झाला.
The body is mine, but confusion arose because I identified myself as the body.
देहाच्या सहवासाने त्याचे जे मित्र, विकार ते बळावले.
Through association with the body, its companions—vices—became strong.
प्रत्येकजण मी देही याच भावनेने व्यवहार करतो.
Everyone lives with the feeling “I am the body.”
इतर आसक्ती कमी केल्या पाहिजेत.
Other attachments must be reduced.
नीती हा पाया आहे.
Morality is the foundation.
भगवंताला तीन गोष्टीचे वावडं आहे.
God has an aversion to three things.
परस्त्री, परद्रव्य, परनिंदा.
Another man’s woman, another man’s wealth, and slander.
परस्त्री मातेसमान मानावी.
Another man’s woman should be regarded as one’s mother.
परद्रव्य विष्ठेसारखे मानावे.
Another man’s wealth should be regarded like filth.
परनिंदा नको.
Do not indulge in slander.
आपलेच नुकसान होते.
It harms only oneself.
ही तीन टाकून नाम घ्यावे.
Abandon these three and take the Name of God.
जीवाला भगवंतच पाहिजे.
The soul needs only God.

मला वस्तूंची खरंच गरज आहे का?
Do I truly need material objects?
वस्तू अपूरी आहे.
Objects are inherently incomplete.
पूर्ण सुख मिळणार नाही.
Complete happiness cannot be obtained from them.
सुखाला कारण नाही; दुःखाला कारण आहे.
Happiness has no cause; suffering has a cause.
वासना आहे तोवर दुःख आहे.
As long as desire exists, suffering remains.
सर्व मिळवले तरी अजून हवेच.
Even after gaining everything, something more is still wanted.
जगात अखंड समाधान देणारी वस्तू नाही.
There is no object in the world that gives lasting contentment.
ती वस्तू म्हणजे भगवंत.
That complete object is God.
भगवंताशिवाय प्रपंच सुखाचा होणार नाही.
Without God, worldly life cannot become joyful.
भगवंत मिळवायला भगवंतासारखे झाले पाहिजे.
To attain God, one must become God-like.
खरी तळमळ पाहिजे.
True longing is required.

लहानपणापासून ते संन्यासाश्रमापर्यंत काहीतरी नको व काहीतरी हवे आहे.
From childhood till the stage of renunciation, there is always something unwanted and something desired.
जोपर्यंत हवे आहे तोपर्यंत सर्वच विषय आहे.
As long as desire exists, everything remains an object of attachment.
हवेनकोपणात दुःख आहे.
Desire and aversion both contain suffering.
हवेपण दुःख देते.
Desire itself gives rise to suffering.
आपण परमार्थ मार्गात राहिलो तर हवेनकोपण जाते.
If we remain on the spiritual path, desire and aversion gradually fall away.
ते प्रथम नाहीसे होत नाही.
They do not disappear immediately.
“आजवर हवे ते मिळूनही समाधान मिळाले नाही” हे कळते, तेव्हा ते जाते.
When one realizes, “Even after getting what I wanted, I did not attain contentment,” then desire starts leaving.
ते गेल्यावर हवेपण का होते असे वाटते.
After it goes, one wonders why desire existed at all.
हवेपण नाहीसे होत नाही तोपर्यंत दुःख जात नाही.
Until desire disappears, suffering does not end.
जे नाही त्यात सुख आहे असे वाटते.
We feel happiness lies in what we do not have.
कशात काय आहे ते समजत नाही.
We do not truly understand where happiness actually lies.
हवेपण पुरवण्यात समाधान नाही; ते नाहीसे होण्यात आहे.
Contentment is not in fulfilling desire, but in the disappearance of desire.
हवेनकोपण दोन्ही नाहीसे झाले पाहिजे.
Both desire and aversion must go.
भगवंत हवा असे म्हणावे.
Instead of trying to remove desire, one should say, “I want God.”
म्हणजे हवेपण आपोआप कमी होते.
Then desire automatically diminishes.
राम ठेवील तसे राहावे.
Live as Rama wills.
समाधान हे शुद्ध मुळाचे खरे लक्षण आहे.
Contentment is the true sign of inner purity.

“मी कोण” हे ओळखणे सर्वात कठीण आहे.
Recognizing “Who am I?” is the most difficult task.
आपले लक्ष सर्वत्र विखुरलेले आहे.
Our attention is scattered everywhere.
ते तेथून काढणे कठीण झाले आहे.
It has become difficult to withdraw it.
म्हणून सर्वत्र भगवंत पाहावा असे संतांनी सांगितले.
Therefore saints have advised us to see God everywhere.
आपल्यात भगवंत पाहिला तर सर्वत्र दिसेल.
If we see God within ourselves, He will be seen everywhere.
ती दृष्टी मिळवली पाहिजे.
That vision must be attained.
ती दृष्टी येण्यासाठी “मी आहे” ही भावना गेली पाहिजे.
For that vision to arise, the sense of “I” must dissolve.
माझा विसर पडला पाहिजे.
Self-forgetfulness must happen.
प्रत्येकात परमात्मा आहे ही जाणीव असेल तर विसर पडेल.
When one knows the Supreme is in everyone, ego naturally fades.
मग द्वैतातून अद्वैतात जाऊन आनंद मिळेल.
Then one moves from duality to non-duality and attains bliss.
आपला सर्व प्रयत्न आनंदाकरिता आहे.
All our efforts are for happiness.
आनंद हवा हे सर्वांना सारखे आहे.
The desire for happiness is the same in all human beings.

मनुष्य पाण्यावर नुसता पडून राहिला तर तरेल.
If a person simply lies still on water, he will float.
पण “मी बुडेन का?” या भीतीने धडपड करतो व बुडतो.
But fearing “Will I drown?” he struggles and sinks.
भोपळा बांधला तर तरतो.
If a gourd is tied, he floats.
तसेच प्रपंचात आपण धडपड करतो व दुःख भोगतो.
Similarly, in worldly life we struggle and suffer.
भगवंताचे स्मरण करून प्रपंचात राहिलो तर भीती नाही.
If we live in the world with remembrance of God, there is no fear.
माणूस प्रयत्नापुरता आहे.
Man’s role is limited to effort.
प्रयत्न करूनही यश मिळत नाही, तर कधी थोड्याने मिळते.
Sometimes great effort fails, while small effort succeeds.
म्हणजे प्रयत्न खरा नाही.
Thus effort itself is not decisive.
प्रयत्न कर्तव्य म्हणून करावा.
Effort should be performed as duty.
काळजी करू नये पण घ्यावी.
Do not worry, but do take care.
कर्तव्य म्हणून प्रपंच करणे म्हणजे काळजी घेणे.
Doing worldly duties as responsibility is true care.

नामाने खरे समाधान होते.
True contentment comes through the Divine Name.
नामाने काय होते हे सांगण्यापेक्षा घेऊन पाहावे.
Rather than talking about what the Name does, experience it.
नामात प्रेम आल्यास कसेही असले तरी चालेल.
If love for the Name arises, circumstances no longer matter.
रामावाचून राजवाडा वाईट; राम असेल तर झोपडीही चांगली.
Without Rama, a palace is worthless; with Rama, even a hut is blissful.
सूर्य उगवला तरी जन्मांधाला प्रकाश दिसत नाही.
Though the sun rises, a person born blind cannot see light.
तसेच निष्ठा नसेल तर नाम जाणवत नाही.
Likewise, without faith, the Name is not experienced.
निष्ठापूर्वक नामाची गरज आहे.
The Name must be taken with faith.
नाम आहे तेथे भगवंत आहेच.
Where there is the Name, God is present.
ती भावना पाहिजे.
That awareness is required.
काही झाले तरी नाम सोडू नका.
No matter what happens, never abandon the Name.
नामाबद्दलची अस्तित्वबुद्धी ही संतांची खुण आहे.
Awareness of the living presence of the Name is the mark of saints.
नामाचे महात्म्य सांगता येत नाही.
The greatness of the Name cannot be described.

प्रत्येकाला काहीतरी पाहिजे.
Everyone wants something.
सर्व मिळाले तरी समाधान मिळत नाही.
Even after getting everything, contentment does not arise.
समाधान आतून आले पाहिजे.
Contentment must arise from within.
जीवाला भगवंताच्या भेटीची स्वाभाविक इच्छा आहे.
The soul naturally longs to meet God.
भगवंतासाठी तळमळ पाहिजे.
There must be deep yearning for God.
एका भगवंतावाचून दुसरी तळमळ नसेल तर भगवंत आहेच.
When there is no longing except for God, He is already present.
ती तळमळ उत्पन्न करणे हे माणसाचे ध्येय आहे.
Creating that longing is the goal of human life.
आपल्या आसक्तीने भगवंत झोपलेला आहे.
Our attachments have put God to sleep within us.
नामात रहा. नामात फार शक्ती आहे.
Remain in the Name; it holds immense power.
नाम घेत गेल्यावर विकार बाजूला होतील.
As the Name continues, vices fall away.
तोंडात नाम व अंतःकरणात प्रेम ठेवा.
Keep the Name on your lips and love in your heart.
